I have worked as a licensed child care provider, as a teacher of suicide prevention to students, as a crisis advocate for a domestic violence shelter and as a medical social worker. Personal Statement
Therapy is all about walking alongside someone in their journey through life. Reaching out for counseling takes courage, humility and strength. I'm not here to give you advice. You already have the answers! I'm here to help you incorporate them into your daily life.
My goal is to meet you where you are today, and to create a warm and safe environment throughout therapy. I truly believe that you are the expert on yourself and therefore take a collaborative approach to therapy where we will work together on setting goals and creating effective change.
Our life's journey presents a variety of challenges and I am here to help you identify your strengths and skills, process your thoughts and help you determine the best ways to respond to these struggles. I would feel honored to walk alongside you as you experience peace, freedom, personal growth and a more vibrant life through better mental health and wellness.
